Bashar Barakah Jackson (July 20th 1999 - - February 19, 2000) popularly referred to in the form of Pop Smoke, was an American musician and rapper. Victor Victor Worldwide, Republic Records and Bashar Barakah Jackson were his record labels. In collaboration together with UK drill producer 808Melo Axl Beats and Yoz Beatz Pop Smoke rose to recognition for his leadership of his own Brooklyn drill sound. Welcome to the Party, the single off his debut mixtape Meet the Woo released in July of 2019, was made available by the artist on April 19th, 2019. Two remixes were released of Welcome to the Party in August 2019, featuring American rapper Nicki Minaj and British Rapper Skepta. Pop Smoke debuted his first mixtape Meet the Woo in 2019. In April of 2019 Pop Smoke debuted the track Welcome to the Party, the song that set the tone for his debut mixtape. In August, the single was remixed twice: one time with Nicki Minaj featuring and another one featuring Skepta. The song is notable by its use of UK drill production later commonly seen throughout his discography. It is due to the frequent collaborations with British drill producer 808Melo. Other well-known songs of his include Mpr Flexin and Dior. In the wake of the popularity of Welcome to the Party and other singles such as War and Lil Tjay & 100k On a Coupe featuring Calboy, he began collaborating on songs. Gatti is the most recent track of the JackBoys 2019 album, of which Scott and Cactus Jack are a part of.
